rehash circle run 1802 July14, 2009

Run 1802 14/07/09
Hare: Simon Seow
Runsite – Tanjung Minyak

Dennis the Menace was in Kuala Lumpur so Chickadee stepped up and ran the box. Dr. Iqbal was the first sinner to hit the ice. It seems that he has a new car and was busy showing it off rather than coming to the circle. He was called several times before he left his new toy. Cocker hit the ice next as he had no hash shirt on; he argued that he had a hash towel but still had to sit due to private party. Mr. Potato, Tai Sin Yong, was caught by the On Tune for not singing, followed by James. James was lucky enough to receive the golden hand shake. Govind was next up, another sinner caught by the On Tune. “What, what????” It was his first time to see the On Tune. Au Kait then demonstrated Govind’s unique warm up procedure. It was the first time a hasher had ever been caught participating in the warm up and talking on the phone at the same time; obviously Govind is a pro at multi-tasking

Chickadee then called for the guest who had not run, only to find out the guest had run so Wendy was iced for making a false accusation. She was also lucky enough to receive a cold shower, courtesy of James and Speedy. The GM from Padung, Indonesia was the first of the guests on downed. The line up of guests being on downed was broken by Visva. He was caught for not singing and recognized as Full Moon’s new GM. He received the golden hand shake as well as a cold shower. Lisa, Michelle’s guest was next up. The male hashers became quite energetic at that time, shouting questions from all directions. Josephine, Mr. Potato’s guest, also was given a very enthusiastic welcome. Mr. Potato was scolded for not providing her with a hash tee shirt. Michelle was next up as it had been ssssssuch a long time since she had last attended a run. She claimed that she couldn’t sit on ice so Speedy was the gentleman who sat on the ice for her. He was rewarded with an eyeful until a folder was placed between his face and her chest.

Au Kait took the box to remind members of the Pattaya trip 19 – 22 Sept. and that MH3 had 20 registrations for the Heritage Run for rm 150. They would be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Registration is now at rm 200. There have been around 700 people registered so far, many from out of the country.

Visva was next up. He announced that he had misplaced the Heritage forms and money members had filled out two weeks ago so would those people please come and see him at the On In. He announced that the Borneo hash in Kota Kinabalu was 6-8, Nov., damage of rm 180, and that Api Api hash in Sabah was the beginning of next year. He reminded members that hotels were filling up quickly for the Interhash in Kuching so they needed to make their reservations soon.

Next week’s hare is Sampah Bui, runsite Bertam Ulu. Simon had twisted his ankle so was not at the runsite. Circle closed and everyone departed to Sin Hao where we all enjoyed steamboat.
